ROADIE - FAST.  FUNNY.  COMPLETELY UNFILTERED

​We fell in love with Roadie from a single photo at 12 weeks old. We were lucky enough to bring him home at 7 months — and everything changed. Roadie is the reason our home (and hearts) are now full of Dobermans.

He’s handsome, elegant, and just a little bit fancy. His movement is flawless. His temperament is everything a Doberman should be — loyal, steadfast, aloof with strangers, protective of his people... and his stalker-like devotion to us is (usually) completely adorable.

But don’t let all that polish fool you.

🎀 ROADIE IS ​CHAOS IN A BOW TIE 🎀

He’s a high-octane, high-drive, turbo-charged goofball with a sense of humor so outrageous, we’re convinced he moonlights as a stand-up comic. He doesn’t just think he’s funny — he knows he’s hilarious. At practices and trials, he’s famous for his “hold my beer” 🍺moments — those perfectly-timed, wildly inappropriate antics that leave the whole ring in stitches.

Agility? Barn hunt? Doesn’t matter. Roadie brings the party wherever he goes.

You never quite know which Roadie will show up: the brilliant, laser-focused sport dog… or the completely unhinged class clown. Either way, you will be entertained.

And while he’s the king of comedy, don't be fooled — Roadie is sharp as a tack.  An evil genius with a heart of gold💛.  With more titles behind his name than you can count (and more on their way), he’s living proof that Smart is the New Sexy.

 ⭐ THE LEGEND LIVES ON ⭐

Roadie may be ten, but don’t tell him that — his body and brain are still clocking in at a solid two years old, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The grass will never grow under this dog’s feet. Ever.

In 2024 and 2025, Roadie’s been dipping a reluctant toe into the Veterans Conformation ring — much to his dismay.
No tunnels? No gerbils? No jumps?  Just.... circles to the left? What’s the point?

Meanwhile, he’s still full speed ahead in barn hunt, recently completing his RATCH title in his all-time favourite game.  Next up?  Crazy 8s!!!  Give this dog a rat and a tunnel, and he's in his happy place.

Agility? There aren't many dogs who cover a course like Roadie can.  He's fast - really fast.  He puts the "air" in airtime.  He's got his JTS and his JTVX titles in Jumps and Tunnels, and he's charging through his PAD title like there's a jet engine strapped to his back.  Weaves?  Well.... we're still trying to explain that a reduction in warp speed and a modicum of precision are kind of part of the deal.  So far, Roadie respectfully disagrees. 

Formal obedience? Look - there's nothing speedy about sit-stays and long downs.  We're not holding our breath.  But hey, miracles do happen.  Maybe.

Roadie lives every second of his life at full throttle. He plays hard, works harder, and loves hardest of all. Every day with him is wild, joyful, hilarious chaos — and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
