HOSS
MBBPIS MBBPIG CH Valhalla's Boots and Heartstrings
DOB March 16 2025
(AM/CAN CH Legendale N KO's Luky Chance x CH Valhalla's Boots and Boys v Janterra)
HOSS - Built with Heart. Fueled by Grit. Country Strong.
Raised where endless skies stretch over rolling fields and the steady hum of the land sets the pace, Hoss carries the soul of the country in every step he takes. He's a dog shaped by fresh prairie air, wide horizons that go on forever, and the quiet rhythm of a place where strength grows deep roots. A true reflection of strength, resilience, heart, earnestness and grounded confidence - Hoss doesn't just come from the country. It lives in him.
At just 7 months old, this handsome, smart and effortlessly charming young buck is making an impression - with a temperament as steady and sure as the prairie winds. Confident without swagger, playful yet poised, Hoss embodies the spirit of a champion raised on the honest grit and wide open heart of the country. Hoss carries himself with the quiet power of a dog who knows who he is. Hoss is the real deal.
Young Hoss is our stunning keeper from our Chance x Flirt litter - bringing together the best of both worlds: brains, beauty, and the kind of no nonsense confidence forged under big skies and blazing sunsets.
His debut? Well... it started with his handler carrying him into the ring. Wide-eyed and wondering what kind of tumbleweed tornado he'd just been dropped into, he looked more like a kid on his first day of school than a future champion. But true grit shines brightest when it's tested. And great show dogs? They’re born with the spark, and then they’re built with experience, patience, and an embarrassing number of cookies.
Once Hoss got his feet under him — literally — there was no holding him back. He caught on fast, figured out the game, and by the end of the weekend, he was strutting into the ring like he owned it. The same pup who had to be carried into the ring was now chasing ribbons and charming judges like a seasoned pro.
That weekend, Hoss didn't just finish strong—he finished big: taking Best Baby Puppy in Breed, Best Baby Puppy in Group, and then wrapping up his debut weekend with a Best Baby Puppy in Show at the largest dog show in Canada.
Not bad for a pup who needed a lift to get started. That's Country Strong in action - built on heart, fueled by grit.
Next up was CKOC in Olds, where Hoss hit the Baby Puppy ring like a prairie storm sweeping across the plains - bold, unstoppable and electric. Another Best Baby Puppy in Show title sealed the deal — this kid’s the total package.
From tentative baby steps to big wins, Hoss made the leap to Junior Puppy with undeniable style — earning 5 points towards his Canadian Championship in Lloydminster, and then finishing his Championship in Medicine Hat with back-to-back three-point Best of Winners awards.
We’re beyond proud of this sweet, earnest young star. Built with heart, fueled by grit, and shaped by the wide-open country that breathes strength and sprit into everything he does — Hoss is Country Strong through and through. Country isn't just where he comes from. It's who he is.
Look for Hoss in the Specials ring this fall and winter.
Keep your eyes on this kid — Country Strong is just getting started.
