BOOTS – Legendary Starts Here
There’s only one Boots.
She’s bold, brilliant, and a total red-headed heartbreaker — with enough presence to command the ring, and just the right amount of "bad-itude" to ensure you never forget her.
A gorgeous, square red bitch with solid bone, serious substance, and a silhouette to die for — Boots has the structure, the movement, and the fire that define a top-quality Doberman. From her smooth neck-to-shoulder transition to her level topline, perfect croup and tail-set - she’s got all the right angles. And she knows exactly how to use them.
And when she moves? It’s magic. Clean down and back, powerful on the go-around — Boots glides like she owns the ground beneath her feet. Which, frankly, she does.
In 2018, Boots carved a path of elegance on her way to her Canadian Grand Championship, finishing in the Top 20 Dobermans in Canada — owner-handled, full of flair, and unforgettable.
But Boots isn’t just a pretty face.
She brings class, sass, and a little badass to everything she does.
She’s the kind of dog who always has an opinion — especially if you dare offend her prior to a trial or hit her with a mistimed cue mid-run. She excels in obedience, rally, agility, NASDA and barn hunt, tackling every event with the same fiery spirit and unstoppable drive. Her favorite reward? A down-and-dirty game of tug, finished with a kill shake that says, “Told you I was the best.”
Her list of titles is long - and growing. She recently added JTXV to her name in agility, and she’ll be back on course this fall/winter. Tearing it up, calling me out when I’m too slow or unclear, and reminding everyone who really runs the show. That's her jam. Her exceptional athleticism is a thing of beauty, and one trial volunteer said it best: “You show them how it’s done, Momma.”
And she does. Every single time.
As for barn hunt? Oh, she’s in. Rats? Absolutely. Tunnels?... Maybe... We’re chasing the last couple of legs for her RATM, but let’s just say she’s enjoying the ride a little too much —and skipping tunnels with a whole lotta sass and zero regrets.

But Boots’ biggest legacy?
She’s the foundation of Valhalla Dobermans.
The matriarch. The cornerstone. The one who started it all.
She's the proud mama of 16 phenomenal Dobermans and grandma to five incredible up-and-comers. She’s produced two stand-out litters: six puppies by Am/Thai/Can CH Holmrun’s Beau Regard (2021), and ten by RBIS MBISS GCHS Crosswind’s There’s No Crying in Baseball (2023).
Her kids take after her — smart, stunning, driven — and they’re out there making waves in conformation, obedience, agility, scent work, and more.
Boots has been honored with Best Brood Bitch three times in a row at regional specialties — a true testament to the strength of her legacy, her contribution to the breed and the future she helped shape.
She may be retired from the whelping box, but Boots is far from done.
Boots turned 8 on September 1, 2025, and she's back rocking her favourite gig - conformation - this time, in the Veterans ring.
After all, what's not to love? Looking pretty AND getting food? Now THAT's a game she'll play all day!!
In her first weekend back, she hit the Veteran Group and Veteran BIS rings four days in a row, and she’s been racking up ribbons ever since. She loves the cheers, the applause, and the chance to strut her stuff — and trust me, she hasn’t lost a step.
Whether she’s flying through an agility course, hunting rats, or dazzling a crowd in the ring, Boots brings it all — class, sass, and just enough badass to keep life interesting.
And at the end of the day? She’s just as happy curled up on the couch, squeaky toy in her mouth, or trotting through the forest by my side.
She’s my partner in crime.
My red-headed rockstar.
And the spark that started it all.
I adore this girl more than words can say—and the best part is, our story is still being written.
